Patricia Bergström - Founder of Effective Learning for Life
Who am I?
As Eckart Tolle would say: "I am"
I am a strong believer in collaboration and knowledge-sharing to improve interpersonal and intercultural relations, as a means to create a more peaceful, tolerant, and informed global society. I have had the best influence from Northern and Southern Europe in my education and life, broadening my linguistic and cultural perspectives from the start. Motivation and effective learning are two fields that have interested me for as long as I can remember and they have been the foundation of my teaching career. After spending the last 26+ years in teaching, 10 as the founder and CEO of Inspirations Motivation and Language Learning Centre, and the rest as a teacher and teacher trainer, holding various teaching and management roles in secondary and high schools, the time has come to fully dedicate myself to something I have innately done throughout my life and that I am very passionate about:
Focusing all the knowledge, experience and training I have in my backpack on supporting individuals and organisations to achieve learning and change that finally make sense, and last.
It is through this passion that Effective Learning for Life is born, with the aim to empower individuals and organisations who want to grow in personal and/or professional directions, personalising each approach to their particular needs and goals, within a framework based on Mindfulness, Neuroscience, Neurolanguage Coaching, Emotional Intelligence and Transformative Coaching, all of which contribute to creating an optimal environment for learning and growth.
I absolutely love witnessing how my clients, or coachees, achieve their goals, and go above and beyond what they initially thought they could.
I created Effective Learning for Life from a simple, lived understanding:
- real learning and real change do not come from pushing harder. They come from being met, understood, and guided in a way that respects how we actually function - cognitively, emotionally and humanly.
My work lives at the intersection of language, learning, and personal transformation. I support people who want more than surface solutions; people who are ready to engage deeply, throughtfully, and responsibly with their own growth.
At the core of my work is active, caring listening. Listening not just to what is said, but to what is underneath.
I work with a heightened sensitivity to context, pace and nuance, because learning and change are never abstract. They are always lived, embodied, and personal.
Over the years I have guided thousands of learners and coachees across different countries, languages, ages, and professional and personal contexts.
I believe that
learning should integrate, not overwhelm,
change should be sustainable, not forced,
effort matters - but it must be the right kind of effort,
and that people thrive when they feel safe, seen and respected.
These beliefs shape every session, every course and every professional relationship.
